Merci. Thanks. Danke. etc...
E como se acabou mais um ano letivo, é tempo de intros e extrospeção;
E\OU é tempo de descansar e relaxar a alma (para quem tenha isso, ainda [Pergunto: O que é uma alma?]);
Notwithstanding, aqui fica o meu apreço e merci beaucoup pelos varios readings, aqui fica uma figura com o last month (o last year from now, backwards, é bem MAIS impressive).

THE difference...
To all those (some from the about 5,000 or getting into it) that follow this blog, I have NOT forgotten the challenge (that a friend and colleague put to me) to explain herein HOW is Cambridge different and HOW can any PT-garden by the 'Atlantique Ouest' university boost itself research wise to a Cambridge-like-status, nearly lunch-free.
I will return (who said that??) after this summer fronts of work there SW and there NE, and I will deliver (who said that?) an appraisal, written in situ, on WHAT makes Cambridge different. I must warn you, however, that it takes a quantum leap of faith and yes, forget Oxford, that's just a place where by chance a city has a university. Seemingly... .
I also fear that most of those who may even come to read that (wait for eg October) post upon some recommendation from some of you, will say, in a rather silly and boring manner, repeating and repeating ad nauseam, que nao se pode aplicar, que ja sabem tudo, ''nao precisamos de saber mais nada''.
In any case, I shall return (who said that?).

Proposta para o periodo pre-eleitoral...
Would like to suggest a change for the auto-parking spaces: new characters, some attractive and interesting exotic elements, less nasty-visual-smelly-smoking features, more colorful, truly reliable, Ganesha*-like presences, in short, a change, a significant change. If they can, ...

Call me old-fashioned, but chalkboards are much better.
Interesting.
But let PC wait until he has to deal with instantaneous-customer-gratification-sort-of aka click me please I wanna stand out in the crowd.
Or as WS, aka ''The bard'', put it gently:
So farewell to the little good you bear me.
Farewell! a long farewell, to all my greatness!
This is the state of man: to-day he puts forth
The tender leaves of hopes; to-morrow blossoms,
And bears his blushing honours thick upon him;
The third day comes a frost, a killing frost,
And, when he thinks, good easy man, full surely
His greatness is a-ripening, nips his root,
And then he falls, as I do. I have ventured,
Like little wanton boys that swim on bladders,
This many summers in a sea of glory,
But far beyond my depth: my high-blown pride
At length broke under me and now has left me,
Weary and old with service, to the mercy
Of a rude stream, that must for ever hide me.
Vain pomp and glory of this world, I hate ye:
I feel my heart new open'd. O, how wretched
Is that poor man that hangs on princes' favours!
There is, betwixt that smile we would aspire to,
That sweet aspect of princes, and their ruin,
More pangs and fears than wars or women have:
And when he falls, he falls like Lucifer,
Never to hope again
Yeah, chalk talk chalk board.

Wow.

Apollo...
Apollo?
(t um office mate q é California, man, the sun, the beaches, surfin is good...; É fascinante c no UK se consegue rapidamente aprender se alguém, é aussie down-under, US east ou califorina coast, deep south...)
Yeah man, Apollo.
Isto a proposito de um mail que recebi sobre 'clearer communication & soul reaching inclusion of all'. Sort of. Achei piada e comecei a rir.
O mais curioso é o ' and in the end of the day...'.
Ok, last one. Só para dizer, repetir, que acaba por fazer rir quando surgem (too little, too late?) belos sonetos informativos com palavras 'doces', após posts e posts a 'claim for a far better posture & attitude'. O Apollo? É um teatro, mais um, onde a BBC faz regularmente shows de stand up comedy, alguma corrosiva, alguma surely politically incorrecta. Mas em ... D-e-m-o-c-r-a-c-y.
