GR20/Amaldi10

GR20/Amaldi10:

GR Maple Workshop

Workshop: Symbolic Computation in General Relativity Using DifferentialGeometry
Location: University of Warsaw, in conjuction with GR20/Amaldi10.
Dates: 7-13th July 2013 (possibly shifted by ± 4days).
Limited Participation. Application must be received by April 1, 2013 (see below).

What is DifferentialGeometry?
DifferentialGeometry (DG) is a Maple software package which symbolically performs fundamental operations of calculus on manifolds, differential geometry, tensor calculus, Lie algebras, Lie groups, transformation groups, jet spaces, and the variational calculus.  DG is currently being developed by Ian Anderson (Department of Mathematics, Utah State University) with help from Charles Torre (Department of Physics, Utah State University). Development and dissemination of DG is supported by the National Science Foundation Office of Cyberinfrastructure.
