Further enhancements to Topic Prominence in Science
Which are the most prominent Topics globally? You can now see these Topics under Countries and Groups, and selecting the World. For deeper insights, you can consequently analyze each Topic in the Trends module.
It is now also possible to filter your institution’s Topics via the ASJC subject classifications, in the Overview module.
Mass Media Mentions: Export the underlying data sources
As part of last month’s Ilizarov release you could see the underlying data sources for your institution’s mass media mentions. Now you can also export the sources as a CSV file, to further interrogate and analyze the data.
Manage your tags in MySciVal
Previously you could only add or delete existing tags in MySciVal, however as part of the Joliot release you can edit and merge existing tags more efficiently, as well as see an overview of all the tags which you have assigned in the Settings section inside MySciVal
Option to exclude hyper-authored papers
We have learnt that it is useful to exclude hyper-authored papers from your analysis. Based on your feedback, you are now able to select your own limit of 10, 50 or 100 on any list of publications in SciVal to eliminate these papers.
Batch import of researchers by ORCIDs
You can now save time and effort by importing multiple Researchers, in one batch based upon their ORCID. The capability has been added as a field on the import spreadsheet and paste ID panel. Please note that the ORCID must be connected to a Scopus Author profile to be imported in SciVal.
Kind regards, Elsevier's SciVal Team
