New EUA interview series gives the floor to university leaders: "New EUA interview series gives the floor to university leaders October 26 2015 EUA has launched a series of interviews “University Leaders’ Perspectives: Governance and Funding”, which is a new style that gives university leaders the opportunity to express their views on current issues in the field. With this series of interviews, EUA follows up on the 2nd Funding Forum held one year ago in Bergamo, Italy. Eight guest leaders were asked to share their insights, concerns and vision regarding the future of the university, and outlining key issues with regard to governance and funding.  Changing frameworks are creating new challenges and opportunities for institutions that need to position themselves strategically. This is an essential mission of the university leader, whose profile is also evolving. The responses provided in the interviews contribute to outline some of the characteristics and responsibilities of today’s university leaders in a fast-changing field. By releasing this interview series, EUA intends to contribute to the discussions on governance and funding in the sector, which it will take up further in a series of activities in 2016.  Click here to view the publication."
