Nb. Awesome and sad book. We all know the end. And I have been delaying it for quite a couple of months. Bought the book at a bookshop in LHR, while in transit.
It seems so many things done in these last 100 days or last year of his life. So many previous serious and griveous mistakes also before that... But what if he had lived? Would the US, the world be the same as today? Worse? Better?
Awesome writing, detailed, no O.Stone conspiracies about, just all facts, just stated and a sad book to read in 2017...
Curiously, as the pace goes on, every evening, I am estimating to finish it by the next week end; i.e. Friday 30th-> July 1st , which is also when the 'https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Night_of_the_Long_Knives ' purge happened.
