Directorate-General for Research and Innovation (DG RTD) launches a consultation on “Research Infrastructure long-term sustainability”

Updates on EU activities: "Directorate-General for Research and Innovation (DG RTD) launches a consultation on “Research Infrastructure long-term sustainability” The European Commission’s DG RTD has recently launched an online consultation on “Research Infrastructure (RI) long-term sustainability” with the aim of collecting stakeholders’ views on the issues which need to be addressed to ensure the long-term sustainability of RI and to identify trends and actions that should be reviewed at regional, national and European levels. The online questionnaire addresses a number of “pre-conditions” underpinning the need to find ways to ensure the long-term sustainability of RI, such as scientific excellence, training and access, innovation potential, interaction with industry, socio-economic impact, data management and international cooperation. EUA is a participant in the DG RTD RI stakeholders’ platform and invites its membership to take part in the survey until 24 January 2016, 12.00 hrs CET in order to represent the interests of the university sector as precisely as possible. The consultation is available online at https://ec.europa.eu/eusurvey/runner/Consultation_on_Long_Term_sustainability_of_Research_Infrastructures "
