 FCT PhD 2018 Scholarship Competition and Declaration Information for admission of candidates without a master's degree
 

We hereby announce that the opening of the 2018 PhD Grant Award, promoted by the Foundation for Science and Technology, I.P. (FCT), will take place on February 28 of this year.    The Notice of Opening of the competition as well as all information and documentation in support of the submission of applications will be provided briefly through the FCT website of the 2018 Competition.

As part of the evaluation process of the applications that will be submitted to this competition, and in compliance with what is stated in point 2.2 of the Evaluation Guide, we must inform that candidates for a PhD or PhD in Companies that do not hold the degree will have to submit a statement issued by the legal and statutorily competent scientific body of the university where they wish to be admitted to a doctorate, attesting to the ability to carry out this cycle of studies.

Since previous contests have resulted in the submission of invalid declarations by many candidates, we have hereby proposed the attached Declaration, in order to clarify the terms on which such declaration should be issued by higher education institutions, in order to that are considered valid for the purposes of admission to the 2018 PhD Scholarship Competition.

The same proposal of Minuta is an integral part of the Evaluation Guide of the Competition and will be made available to the candidates through the FCT website of the 2018 Competition.
